The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
That movie title from the 1970’s is often used to describe other things, for example a year. When you look back at 2025 today, the first day of the last month, what was good about 2025? What was bad? What was ugly?
In this blog I’ve explored many themes this year and together with you, I’ve worked my way through Gabor Maté’s The Myth of Normal. We’ve looked at how our environment, our emotions and our thoughts impact our mental and physical health. If you were to write down a few notes, in point form, on how your thoughts and emotions impact your mental and physical health, what would that list look like? Here is a quick example:
A thoughts/emotions B health (mental/physical)
My boss hates me depression/fatigue
What other thoughts come up for you? I’m asking this on December 1st, knowing full well that this month is the culmination of everything that’s happened this year and is going to be good (peace, love and joy), bad (travel issues, weather) and ugly (financial stress, family stress, etc) Do you have the tools now to deal with these issues?
